FLORAL HEARTS MACHINE APPLIQUE CLASS

So....I used some of the pastel hearts that I had leftover from the class kits and made a small wallhanging.
This one is all yellows....I'm on a yellow kick right now.
In class, we will learn to do the machine applique using very lightweight fusible interfacing.
Here is the supply list..........if you don't have everything....not to worry...we"ll share.

Irons and ironing boards will be provided

Sewing Machine---threaded and in good working order  (must have zig-zag or blanket stitch)

                                                    Open Toe Applique Foot (optional)

                                                     Spare Machine Needle size 75/11

                                                       Bobbins---1 extra pre-wound

                                                               Sewing Scissors

                                                         Pinking Shears (optional)

                                                                  Straight Pins

                                                        Seam Ripper (just in case)

                                                   Point Turner or Crochet Hook

                                                              Dark Tan Thread


I will also bring some extra fabric scraps and interfacing so we can practice before we really practice.
We are not doing an actual project.......just some blocks that you can use in a project.
This will be a short class. Bring a beverage if you'd like.
Anyone who hasn't paid yet...bring a check or cash along to class and Ann will take care of that part.

PATCHES OF THE PAST

--------------FINISH IT UP-------------

You can't tell in the picture, the border fabric has just a touch of blue in it.
The sashing fabric has thin red lines in it and really looks good with all the tans.
I thought that the quilt needed one more color in it and the blue is great.
It's just the right shade and the red is just enough to set off the rest of the reds.
The finishing kits are ready for anyone who has already paid.

Please let me know if you want to do another one for next year.
